Upcoming Con Schedule 2019

I’m excited to be confirmed at these upcoming shows. There are still a few more that I have yet to hear back from. I’m getting out to Kansas City this year for the first time too! I’m trying to venture further out from my Chicago home base, but funds and time are always the challenges.

SDCC this year was pretty heavy with WB trying to conquer ALL TRAILER releases, and they pretty much did, since Disney was not there whatsoever. So we got a feast of new stuff from WB like Fantastic Beasts 2, Aquaman, GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS!

Fantastic Beasts does interest me quite a bit, I found the first one very fun and creative with the creatures and a fairly good introduction to this era of the Potterverse (or the SkemanderVerse? #Skemanderverse !!)

But Godzilla: King of the Monsters or...KOTM, had the best visuals, and really grabs me, because I always love when giant Lovecraftian monster/god/titans are introduced in a spectacle that makes you awe at their power. That awe usually is short-lived before the titan-monster-guards start tearing up the planet because we are just ants to them. So with the cast including "Eleven," and the director is the guy that directed Trick-R-Treat and Krampus....I feel like we're gonna get a solid Godzilla movie :D

Finally got to see "A Quiet Place," whew man, it had my blood pumping the whole time. It was a really well crafted horror movie. The concept was interesting and gave a good reason for jump scares. The whole cast was fantastic! Emily and John are my celeb crushes right now, I'd watch them in anything INCLUDING;

-Space Pirate Fantasy where Emily is a ship captain in space and John is her cyborg-Igor/Shmee-right hand man, and they fly around in a pirate ship styled after the designs of "Treasure Planet

-Remake of "My Mother is an Alien" only instead it's about "My Step-Father is an Alien" and now John Krasinski is again super buff and hyper-sexualized, and he's Emily's trophy husband.

-Obviously...a solid, good, Fantastic Four movie.
